Our bodies are made of all the same elements as the rest of Nature; we are subject to the laws of Nature; we come from the Earth and we return to the Earth, and in the meantime it’s all too easy to forget our vital Earth roots and separate ourselves from the natural world. But we do so at our cost: that world has huge amounts to teach us. In particular, we have much to learn from the creatures we share the Earth with.
Early in the life of what would later become Metatronic Healing®, a simple instruction was dropped into our awareness: that while healing begins with us as individual human beings, the goal is much wider and deeper, and we must partake in every way we can in the task of healing the planet – her plants and oceans and the consciousness of all of us who live here. And, of course, the animals – some farmed, some loved at home – many of whom were here long before we were.
The biologist Rupert Sheldrake has written a fascinating book, Dogs that Know when their Owners are Coming Home, and Other Unexplained Powers of Animals. If you’re an animal lover, you probably have stories that would contribute to his book, and I have a few of my own (more…)
